MY WRITTEN DESCRIPTION:
From the heights of the Otemachi Tower, Aman Tokyo rises with poise above the city skyline. Rooted in Japanese tradition, ryokan-style rooms open in quiet harmony with ikebana displays, washi paper doors and engawa platforms framing the view of Mount Fuji, resting like a brushstroke on the horizon. Beneath it all, the Aman Spa offers its own retreat, where stone, steam, and stillness restore the senses and offer serene renewal.
WHY I WROTE IT THIS WAY:
I wanted to evoke the quiet elegance and balance of Japanese tradition. Words like “poise” and the image of Mount Fuji “resting like a brushstroke” were chosen to echo the aesthetics of Japanese calligraphy and scroll art.
The aim was to create a sense of space — visual and emotional — where the language mirrors Aman’s serene, almost sacred atmosphere.
